Hello, I am Marcella O’Neill and I am a qualified Mindfulness and Positive Psychology Coach, and meditation teacher. I have  worked one-to-one with individuals, I also provide mindfulness courses on site, online or as a blended learning in the workplace. I studied with Irish Mindfulness Academy in Dublin. This is a unique Dual-Qualification course, scientifically validated and drawing upon research from emerging fields within Modern Psychology to present the latest thinking in Mindfulness-based interventions, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Positive Psychology and Neuroscience. I am constantly training and currently I am enrolled in Eckhart Tolle’s six-month course on the teaching of presence.

I ran a successful business for over 30 years and so I’m very aware of the challenges and demands of managing people and dealing with the public. My own personal need for greater self-care and better ways to manage stress and improve my well-being in both my personal and business life lead me to train as a mindfulness and meditation teacher. Through my own experience I recognised that mindfulness in the workplace built resilience and cultivated behavioral change to manage stress.

I am passionate about helping others to discover the benefits of Mindfulness. I believe wellbeing is a skill. My teaching develops the awareness and habit of the mind and empowers you to make meaningful changes in your personal and professional life, using valuable tools of Mindfulness that are scientifically proven through research.

What is Mindfulness?

The mind always wants to be in the past or the future, but never the present. We can often miss out on important things and opportunity because our minds are processing too much.

Mindfulness is a way of connecting with life. Mindfulness teaches us to pay attention to our thoughts and feelings without judging them, without believing, for instance, that there’s a “right” or “wrong” way to think or feel in each moment.

Mindfulness prevents us from becoming the victim of our own thinking and it is vital we understand how our thoughts create our experience.

Mindfulness assists us in reducing stress and anxiety, improving our focus and concentration, increasing self-awareness, heightened emotional regulation, and developing resilience, and enhances overall well-being.
